The poll, conducted from May 15th to May 30th, 2026, with the participation of over 42,000 Astros fans, officially announced its results this morning. Jose Altuve not only took the lead but also significantly surpassed other strong contenders such as Yordan Alvarez (18%) and Christian Walker (7%).

Upon receiving the announcement, Altuve – currently excelling in the 2026 season – emotionally shared at Minute Maid Park:
“Fifteen years have flown by. I still vividly remember the first day I stepped in here as a 21-year-old boy from Venezuela. The Houston fans have given me a second family.
